Geographe has the capabilities to undertake site specs on new machines, repairs, maintenance, and overhauls of your fleet.
Our comprehensive overhaul facility exists in a 2700sqm meter workshop located in Kewdale, Western Australia and specialises in the repair, rebuilding, and complete refurbishment of all types of mechanical plant.
The workshop has 2 overhead cranes of 6.3t and 20-ton capacity plus 8 x 1.5-ton gantry cranes, an internal supporting machine shop, and a non-load gearbox testing area.
We have been overhauling fixed and mobile plant gearboxes and transmission ranging in sizes up to 20 ton for top-tier mining and processing organisations for over 25 years and are fully supported by our Western Australian manufacturing plant. A dedicated team of skilled engineers and tradesmen conduct a range of highly technical procedures to renew and improve equipment’s functionality. These can include:
- Failure analysis
- Pressure and flow testing
- White metalling of bearings
- Ratio changes
- Hard chrome plating of work surfaces
- Line boring
- NDT including Dye Penetration and Magnetic Particle Crack Detection
- Re-assembly and painting
- Testing with final inspection reports
Our team is experienced in working with mobile and fixed plant equipment, industrial gearbox and transmissions, conveyor systems, precision plant, pumps, and most types of mining equipment. We can also improve the reliability of your gearbox through design (FEA & Gearteq), material and heat treatment upgrades.
